Argentina Beat Netherlands, Will Play Final against Germany

Two extra ordinary saves by Argentina Goalkeeper Sergio Romero and his team managed to edge out Netherlands 4-2 in the penalty shootout in the semi-final match. With the victory, Argentina has set up a clash against Germany in World Cup final.

The ninety minutes match ended up without any score and the extra time did not decide the winner. The match went into penalty shootout and at the end, Argentina managed to defeat Netherlands by 4-2.

Skipper Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Ezequiel Garay and Maxi Rodriguez were the scorer for Argentina while on the other hand, only Arjen Robben and Dirk Kuyt could score for Netherlands.  

Argentina goalkeeper Romero became hero for his team Argentina as he managed to block shots from Ron Vlaar and Wesley Sneijder to take his side to the fifth World Cup final.

Now, Argentina has to play against Germany in the final match. In their previous match, Germany has defeated host nation Brazil by a margin of 7-1, which is worst defeat of Brazil in football history.
