Dutches Confirm Their Seat in Semi-Final

The replacement goalkeeper Tim Krul of Netherland came up as hero for the team at the Arena Fonte Nova as his team managed to beat Costa Rica 4-3 on penalties to set up a mouth watering FIFA World Cup semi-final clash against Messi’s Argentina.

Costa Rica again impressed FIFA fans with their fabulous game, but at the end, they were evicted from the tournament. Netherland’s coach decided to replace Dutch goalkeeper and it became the best move of the game. Krul justified his substitution as he made two fine saves to end Costa Rica's dream run in the competition.

The Netherlands were expected to beat their Central American rival in the first ninety minutes of the game but they found rigid Costa Rican defence in the path. Costa Rican’s goalkeeper Keylor Navas became the biggest distinction between a comfy Dutch win and a the score being goalless at the end of the 90 minutes plus 30 minutes of extra time.
