Pune Mishap: 21 people Died in the Tragedy

More than 160 are trapped under wreckage following a landslide hit a Pune’s village named Malin. The Maharashtra state government has started the rescue operations to save the people under the debris.

More than 21 people are died in the disaster amid fears that the toll may go up substantially. Over the mishap, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed sorrow. The village is located around 120 kilometres away from the main city Pune. There were more than 50 homes in Malins. After the mishap, now hardly six buildings including panchayat office are remained.

Chavan, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar besides cabinet colleagues Harshvardhan Patil and Madhukarro Pichad visited the accident spot yesterday.
