Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania movie review: Love Story That Wins

Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania is a modern Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, where we have a character like Raj, Simran and Babuji. There is similar drama and romance like DDLJ. We can say that Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania is a modern rom-com of two lovers.

Humpty Sharma (Varun Dhawan) is a typical Delhi boy who loves to party hard with his friends. His life goes upside down when a girl from Patial, Kavya (Alia Bhatt) enters his life. Kavya is in Delhi in search of a designer Lehanga for her marriage. While searching for that designer Lehanga, Kavya and Humpty fall in love. Their love life takes a sudden twist, when Angad Bedi( Siddharth Shukla) enters.

What’s Good

Acting, script, dialogue, everything is fabulous. Varun Dhawan as Humpty and Kavya’s father played by Ashutosh steal the show. Alia and Siddharth are not remarkable but good.

What’s Bad

The Ending of the film is little messy. There are lots of things happening in a small interval of  time.

It’s a watchable romantic film, which wins at the end.

Ratings: 3 out of 5.
