Mark Craig`s dream debut, NZ Wins by 186 Runs

Debut Off-spinner of NZ, Mark Craig captured the best figures and New Zealand wins the match by 186 runs. The hosts were bowled out for 216 after New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum had asked for an additional 30 minutes of play when they reduced West Indies to 115 for seven with four overs remaining in the regulation day play.

The off spinner of the nation took four wickets in the second inning and finished the match with total eight wickets. Mark`s haul of 4/97 complimented the extremely essential early double-strike by Southee after McCullum declared NZ team`s second innings at 156/8, an effort highlighted by opening batsman Tom Latham`s battling 73, his second half-century of the match.

Gayle scored 7,000 runs in his international cricket career, but got departed in the very next over.

"This is a dream come true. It surely doesn`t get any better than this," was Craig`s reaction on receiving the Man of the Match award.
